Hi all, This started out as a tiny sketch I drew up in class XD Here I tried a more detailed approach, as opposed to speedpainting. I took my time, so hopefully there's some improvement.
As a little insight, I am not a big fan of sunsets in general. Ever since I was a child, they've always instilled me with a feeling of sadness, loss, parting ways, the end of happy times, and much more not very friendly thoughts. Dunno if I'm the only one who thinks this way. No offense to sunset lovers, I totally get where you're coming from.
However, since I'm trying new painting styles, I thought I might as well face myself. And this was born.
Despite my aforementioned opinion on sunsets, I tried my best to paint them in the most beautiful way possible. And now I realized they're not so bad anymore. Everything in life is beautiful in it's own way.
I just realized my last 3 works are all water themed...ORZ . Those might be the same two birds from a previous piece, migrating across some magical oceans or some sort XD
Hope you all like it!

Totally agree with this comment. There is barely any blue which would be the go to color for an ice scene, which just shows how great she is, that she can paint an ice scene with purple, white and yellow. Fantastic.
That is all.
