One does not simply draw complex backgrounds with SAI. The frail little thing crashed on me around 7 times working on this...ALL MY TEARS XD

Anyway, here is Raika, accompanied by his Crystal duo, Chaos and Freedom, on a casual stroll under Andromeda's starry expanse.

I'm actually really satisfied with how it turned out, drawing a piece with so many characters. 3 is a really large number for me OTL
But no more...I wanna rest...:iconlazycryplz:

Hope y'all like this, and have a great day! ^_^

"Aurora Borealis?! At this time of year, at this time of day, at this part of the country. Localized entirely within your kitchen?!"
Sorry seeing the BG made me think back of this particular scene of The Simpsons (which made me fall off my chair) XDDDD

But I can only imagine all the pain, sweat and tears for creating this magnificent background @A@

Very beautiful! I love the background though I have a thing for space and the stars myself!

I can feel your pain about the long time on working on a piece! I did this one painting of two pups touching noise in a garden took me three months to finished. I don't have the painting anymore since the day I sold it. It was a lot of work and tears til I finished, so I now how it is!:)

Thank you! Celestial objects have always been my fancy, and it's really fun drawing such pieces!

Oh god yes, I remember last year I spent a whole month on one single picture. Just one, for nearly 30 days! But looking back at it now, I really enjoyed working on it! Because that's the great thing about us artists: we enjoy working on a piece as much as seeing the end result! I believe art is both a journey and destination, if you know what I mean.

That said, I've been trying to improve my speed so that I can accomplish more in a shorter time frame~

This looks AMAZING :iconspazattackplz:
Honestly, I don't know where you find your patience in drawing your intricate backgrounds like such in SAI. Especially with so many people!! (I as weel am not to good with drawing multiple characters over 2.... and barely two ._.)

I've noticed you've tried another angle (aka the back) it looks so cool >_< Overall, superb job :iconshaplz:
